Bread and Cornmeals


I n the culinary traditions of Trentino and Lake Garda there is a unique culture of bread-making, with an enormous variety in the shaping, raising and cooking that conserve the age-old flavours. The pairing of the right bread with the special recipes will be one of the discoveries in this th edition of Garda con Gusto. Cornmeal and buckwheat flour are indispensable bases for almost every Alpine dish, such as polenta, and are locally ground in historic mills.
