Trentino Vino Santo


 

T he Trentino Vino Santo, a Slow Food Presidium, is as precious as it is prestigious. It is ideal for accompanying cheeses, desserts or simply for enjoying as a wine for meditation. It is made from the indigenous, sparse Nosiola grapes from the Valli dei Laghi, laid out on lattices and exposed to the wind - the so called “Ora del Garda” - from October until Palm Sunday. The delicate and ritual pressing is carried out just before Easter each year. A minimum 10 years of ageing in barrique gives this wine a unique quality that allows it to be served even 50 or 60 years after its harvest, it’s a truly unforgettable masterpiece.
