Garda con Gusto: A Gourmet weekend is waiting for you in November

The fifth edition of the Garda con Gusto – Gourmet Experience food and wine festival will return from the 1st to the 3rd November 2019 at the Palavela congress centre in Riva del Garda. Out of lots of news, Fuori Gusto, Caffetteria Italiana and the chef aperitif are worth mentioning.
The new edition of Garda con Gusto – Gourmet Experience proves once again the strength of an event that in just five years has turned Riva del Garda into the first culinary center of Garda Trentino, where it is possible to find out and enhance the local products. Meanwhile, you’ll have the opportunity also to explore the area, the origins and the organoleptic features of the raw materials, as well as the perfect dishes to enhance the taste of the flavours thanks to the partnership with amazing producers and chefs.
The festival will take place over three days, from the 1st to the 3rd November, and will combine cooking shows, tasting sessions, meetings with chefs and producers and some gourmet shopping inside the Palavela congress centre in Riva del Garda. Once again, the main ingredients of this festival are the local products, from the carne salada to the extra virgin olive oil, from the Torbole broccoli to the lake fish, from the organic vegetables grown in the Gresta Valley to the cottage cheeses. This year the menu will also include the Lake Garda carp, a precious and rare fish species which lives only in our lake and has been saved from extinction. To end this tasting and sensory experience in style, there will be the Trentodoc fizz, some regional white and red wines, as well as some grappa and coffee.
